Nihan joined Novozymes in 2018 as Business Development and Launch Manager and has led major new product development projects in Middle East and Africa. Nihan is currently responsible for the marketing of Novozymes’ Baking, Food and Beverages industries in the Middle East.
Nihan is passionate about making a difference for lives by contributing to the sustainability and health of food.

Waheed Ahmad

Food Technologist and International Consultant

Waheed Ahmad is a food technologist, an international consultant and trainer. Waheed has been working in baking industry over 29 years and specialized in biscuit and cakes production since 2005.

Waheed worked in major food companies’ production and R&D functions, where he led product development, process optimization projects and implementation of quality systems. Waheed is currently providing consultancy to biscuit and cake companies across more than 40 countries

Waheed is passionate about improving the production systems by introducing innovative and science-based approaches.

Irina Matveeva

Industry Technology Manager, Novozymes

Dr., Prof. Irina Matveeva graduated from Moscow State University of Food Industries with the specialty of engineer-technologist of baking, confectionery and pasta industries, followed by defending of two Ph.D. theses. Irina has more than 35 years’ worldwide experience in bread-making, milling, biscuits, pasta technologies science. Irina is the author and co-author 300+ scientific publications, including textbooks, monographies, patents.
Irina started her career in Novozymes since 1999, acquiring the responsibilities over the baking and milling segments for technical service in various regions.
Irina is passionate about the global baking experience and how food consolidates the people around the world.
